Single detection of human bocavirus 1 with a high viral load in severe respiratory tract infections in previously healthy children zhou2014single
Hospital-based study in Chongqing, China (Dec 2009–Aug 2013) investigating human bocavirus 1 (HBoV1) in 1229 children hospitalized with respiratory tract infections. Nasopharyngeal aspirate specimens were collected at symptom onset and tested for respiratory viruses; HBoV1 was quantified by TaqMan real-time qPCR targeting NS1. This extraction captures individual-level HBoV1 viral loads for 7 severe cases (from provided CSV), with time reported in days (as provided) and viral load in copies/mL.
