Single detection of human bocavirus 1 with a high viral load in severe respiratory tract infections in previously healthy children zhou2014single

Hospital-based study in Chongqing, China (Dec 2009–Aug 2013) investigating human bocavirus 1 (HBoV1) in 1229 children hospitalized with respiratory tract infections. Nasopharyngeal aspirate specimens were collected at symptom onset and tested for respiratory viruses; HBoV1 was quantified by TaqMan real-time qPCR targeting NS1.
